Identity and Fitness

Exercise is only part of the solution to overall health; the other important pillars for our health are sleep, stress, nutrition, hydration, and finally our identity when it comes to these things. How we see ourselves is very important, and if we cannot imagine a different horizon, it is very hard to achieve one. A huge part of what we hope to achieve when working with clients is giving them the tools to change their identity, their vision of the future, adherence to a plan, and enjoying the process of exercise. When any of these pillars is substantially imbalanced, it can sap the progress out of any routine! This means you can be so stressed you are not getting the return on your investment at the gym, or you can sleep so little that instead of building muscle you damage it, or you can be so dehydrated that using your muscles is a mental challenge more than a physical one, etc. the list goes on. We want to learn how to achieve balance and harmony among these pillars, and that's what we strive to teach!
